Inviting Entries for the 2016 General Art Show October 14 and 15
Entries are invited for a General Art Show to be held October 14 and 15. Participation is open to Bay Area residents, 18 years and older. Entry delivery and deadline for two dimensional works in watercolors, painting, and graphics is Wednesday, October 12, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Photography-based art is not included for this program. Participants must hand-deliver entries, completed application and fees to docents at the Betty Weber Gallery located in the South San Francisco Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive.
This will be a juried event. Ribbons will be awarded to first, second and third place finalists. Cash awards may be given to Best of Show of all the categories combined. Finalists will be invited to participate in an extended group exhibit of their work. Judging will be performed by an independent artist or art teacher.
The event will take place on Friday and Saturday, October 14 and 15, at the SSF Municipal Services Building. Exhibit hours are Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.
