Former Responsibilities
The South San Francisco RDA was a local government organization engaged in the processes of:
  • Creating jobs
  • Developing affordable housing
  • Strengthening neighborhoods
  • Building public facilities in South San Francisco
Members of the South San Francisco City Council served as the Redevelopment Agency Board. The Agency worked with the community and local businesses to enhance South San Francisco's economy.

The Agency oversaw investments, initiatives and comprehensive programs for development to revitalize the City's Redevelopment Project Areas, including El Camino Corridor, Gateway, Shearwater, and Downtown.
