Please refrain from wearing scented products to classes.

STEM Saturdays

(Science Technology Engineering Math): Free hands-on fun for the whole family. STEM activities for youth ages 6-13, with accompanying adults.
Saturdays                                    June 3 to August 5              10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.


A parent-child math series: Together the parent and child will discover fun activities to practice and learn math. (For children entering 3rd, 4th or 5th grade) **Workshops will be in Spanish.
Saturdays                                    July 8 to July 29                   12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • South San Francisco Unified School District: The South San Francisco school district will be speaking to parents on preparing for the upcoming school year and on school migrant policies. 
Saturday                                      July 15th                                10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Executive Orders & what they mean for immigrant families: SF State Professor Bill Hing will be speaking on what executive orders are and how they impact families.
Saturday                                      July 29th                                  10:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.


Pre-registration is required.  To participate, children must live or attend a school in South San Francisco. For children who completed the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.
Monday – Friday                                    June 12 to July 7          9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  

Our schedule is designed to meet the needs of the community.  During closed hours the staff is planning programs, attending meetings, forming collaborations and is available by appointment.  The Center is used by other groups during closed hours.
