Downtown Façade & Tenant Improvement Program
The City of South San Francisco offers local businesses an opportunity to take part in beautifying the downtown streetscape. The Downtown Facade & Tenant Improvement Program, which is supported by the City General Fund, provides grants and/or loans to rehabilitate eligible downtown businesses. For business owners, it is a way to make your business more attractive to downtown visitors. It also increases civic pride and encourages support for businesses, which in turn is beneficial to the community and the local economy. This program exclusively considers improvements for downtown businesses. Refer to the map above. Businesses located within the shaded blue region are considered geographically eligible for this program.

New improvements only - This program does not fund work in progress or already completed.
