City of South San Francisco Blood Drive

in Honor of Vanessa Morales

Monday, September 11, 2017 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Municipal Services Building, City Council Chambers, 33 Arroyo Drive

On Monday, September 11, 2017, the City of South San Francisco is hosting a Blood Drive in honor of Vanessa Morales, an 11-year-old South City resident. At age 7 she was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia, a blood disease that requires regular blood transfusions. We are happy to report that Vanessa is in remission, thanks to blood donations. She credits the generosity of blood donors for saving her life. That's why Vanessa wants to join our City's Blood Drive and encourage everyone to please donate and help others like her become healthy again.
