Improving Public Places Fundraiser

Wreath Making Workshop

Sunday, December 3 | 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
What better way to get in the holiday spirit than creating your own beautiful wreath. The Improving Public Places group will host two wreath making sessions on Sunday, December 3: one family-friendly session from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and one adult-only session in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. All greens are sustainably harvested from South San Francisco parks. Workshop leaders will provide all the basic materials needed, including optional accessories for your wreath, along with hands-on instruction. The workshop fee, including all materials, is $25.00. SSF Parks and Recreation's Civic Ballet Presents

The Nutcracker

Sunday, December 17 | 1:00 p.m.
The Parks and Recreation Department's Civic Ballet will be offering three showings of the annual Nutcracker production. This year, the performances will be held at South San Francisco High School's theater on Saturday, December 16 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 17 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets cost $6.00 for youth and $8.00 for adults (18 years and older), and will be available for purchase in the Recreation Office beginning Monday, November 27.
