Lateral Replacement Program
News Image

Thinking about replacing that leaky old sewer lateral? Let the City of South San Francisco help you pay for it!

The City is offering assistance for homeowners and residents to improve their systems and in the process help reduce inflow and infiltration (I & I) into the sewer lines, which can improve the quality of the waters of the San Francisco Bay.

Lindenville Business Owner

As you are acutely aware, storm flooding within the low lying areas of the Lindenville Business Park has been an ongoing problem. Improvements to Colma Creek that has increased its flow capacity, has been a major benefit, however, larger storm drain lines and an upgraded pump station are required to minimize the chance of continued flooding.

Universal Waste

When you see this symbol on a product it means you should recycle it  when you dispose of it.  Universal waste is defined as a hazardous waste. The disposal of universal waste in the trash is prohibited by law. The following are examples of universal waste: fluorescent lamps and tubes, batteries, computer and television monitors and electronic devices.  Not all products are clearly defined as to the type of waste they might be so it pays to investigate.
