JobScout is a free online service that helps you get the basic computer skills you need in order to search for work. It features self-paced lessons in using the internet, email and sites like Facebook and LinkedIn. It also has an easy-to-use resume builder and a built-in job search. Discover & Go
Discover & Go provides SSF library cardholders with free and discounted passes to local museums and cultural institutions. SSF library cardholders can make reservations online at ://discover.ssf.net and print out an entrance pass. Visit our Discover & Go Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.
E-Books
The South San Francisco Public Library now offers audio and text e-books. Our popular e-book service, Overdrive, lets you download popular fiction, non-fiction and children's books to your Kindle, Nook or other e-book reader.
Support the SSF Public Library
The South San Francisco Public Library now accepts donations online using PayPal. Donations are used to support programing and collections that are not otherwise funded, including programs for children, author visits, literacy services, Community Learning Center programs, and much more. New Mobile App
The South San Francisco Library and the Pacific Library Partnership are making a mobile phone application available which provides a searchable directory of libraries in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara Counties. Visit http://plplibs.boopsie.com using your phone's internet browser to download the application.
