Playgrounds

The City of South San Francisco has a total of 20 children playground areas. Playground equipment is inspected on a regular basis for the safety of the children. Playgrounds are filled with ADA approved wood fiber surfacing and rubberized surfacing. Most playgrounds are used daily, especially during the spring and summer months. Alta Loma Park

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Avalon Park

A recreational area and children's playground open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Brentwood Park

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Buri Buri Park

A recreational area including a children's playground open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

City Hall Playground

A children's playground near City Hall and the Grand Avenue Library.

Clay Avenue Playlot

Children's playground.

Cypress and Pine Playlot

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Dundee Playlot

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Francisco Terrace Playlot

A recreational area and children's playground open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Newman and Gibbs Playlot

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Orange Memorial Park

A large recreational area including a swimming pool, sports fields, tennis courts, a sculpture garden and more open to the public.

Paradise Valley Park

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Sellick Park

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Siebecker Playlot

Children's playground.

Terrabay Gymnasium

A recreational area open to the public for recreation and sports activities.

Winston Manor Park
