Main - Kaiser presents Understanding Intuitive Eating

Do you want to feel happy around food instead of feeling anxious or obsessive? Do you want to become physically and mentally healthier with better metabolic outcomes? A Kaiser Health Educator will teach us how intuitive eating can do just that.  

Intuitive eating is not about dieting or will power or meal plans or discipline. It is a way of eating that encourages you get more in tune with yourself by listening to your body's physical and emotional signals. It is a way of eating where you do not think of foods as "good" or "bad" or how many calories it has. Rather, it is a holistic approach of looking at food as nourishment, honoring hunger, respecting fullness and enjoying eating.
