Family Dance class provides a space for children and parents/caregivers to dance and play together, celebrating the joy of movement. These classes have a relationship-based curriculum that creates opportunities for kids and parents/caregivers to interact, connect and communicate with each other, strengthening the bond between them. They get physically fit, activate their imagination and express themselves in a fun and creative way.
The Family Dance program was created by Luna Dance Institute (called Moving Parents and Children Together) 15 years ago to help families that were separated by court decision to reestablish their connection.
Rossana Alves has been teaching this class since 2010 at libraries, child development centers, studios and family resource centers.
