Cookbook Club -UPDATE!

Cookbook Club is back! During stressful times, cooking and baking can help us be mindful and provide a small escape by forcing you to focus on the recipe in front of you, rather than your to-do list or any number of things you might need a distraction from. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we think it's the perfect time to do a bit of anxiety baking.

Starting on May 27th and going for as long as we need it to, we'll meet virtually on the last Wednesday of each month to talk about recipes, share tips and experiences, and enjoy each other's company. The library will also be sharing resources for self-care and assistance. 

Each month we'll have a theme, and May's theme is cake! Find a recipe, bake it, and come to our meeting ready to talk about it. If you'd like to share a picture with the group (or if you have any other questions), you can email Shawnte at before May 27th.
