The purpose of this Calendar of Culturally Significant Dates is to celebrate the diversity of South San Francisco’s residents and to promote inclusiveness throughout the calendar year. The City seeks to foster understanding and respect for the rights of all individuals regarding their beliefs, values, and customs. This calendar recognizes the country’s national holidays, significant multicultural celebrations, and events that are celebrated by the City’s diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious communities. Please be advised that the information contained in this calendar is presented in good faith and is not exhaustive of every event that may be celebrated within the City and around the world.
