The Economic Development & Housing Division administers the City’s housing programs. This includes monitoring affordable housing units throughout the City, working to create more affordable housing opportunities, and implementing the City’s affordable housing regulations.

The YMCA is a Core Service Agency that provides safety net services to San Mateo County residents in need of food, emergency housing assistance, emergency utility assistance, shelter and other basic needs.
