City of South San Francisco Technology Accessibility Statement

The City of South San Francisco is committed to providing accessible digital services.  In support of this commitment, the City is engaging in ongoing accessibility efforts to provide digital services that align with Version 2.1, Level AA, of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA).  Aligning digital services with WCAG 2.1 AA helps digital services be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.

As the City’s accessibility efforts are ongoing, the City welcomes suggestions for accessibility improvement. The City also recognizes the importance of providing reasonable accommodations and modifications where needed and as appropriate under any applicable accessibility standards.  Please use one of the contact methods listed in the “Request an Accommodation or Modification” section below to provide suggestions for accessibility improvement, request a reasonable accommodation or modification relating to a digital service, or request reasonable assistance in submitting a suggestion or request.  The City will timely respond to any submitted suggestion or request.

Map Accessibility

Many of our pages feature embedded maps or links to maps that we have created using ArcGIS, Esri's comprehensive geospatial platform. While we strive to make our maps as accessible as possible, we may have encountered certain limitations in the software itself. Please visit Esri's Accessibility Conformance Reports page for more information.
