Freedom: The Future of Hope Art Show
Over forty-five inspiring two- and three- dimensional artworks
currently on exhibit through Friday, July 25th!
Artistic creations reflect the spirit of Juneteenth through uniquely personal expressions of hope, resilience, and freedom at this third 2025 art gallery show. Exceptional artworks echo the power of perseverance and the importance of embracing self-determination, serving as a visual testament to this significant cultural observance.
At Friday evening's grand opening, singer, pianist and composer, Bianca "BB" Brown, performed heartfelt musical selections from her repertoire. BB has grown up surrounded by music. In May 2022, she self-produced and played every instrument on her first project, a 5-track EP titled "Is Anybody Home?" She has performed at various venues around the Bay Area, including Oakland City Hall, The Fox Theater, and at the top of Salesforce Tower. She is currently performing shows with community-based organizations, private events, and with Sofar Sounds. She uses music to communicate and understand the world around her.
