Come learn from one of Amgen's Principal Scientists & Human Genetics PhD, Ittai Eres, about how foundational molecular biology has driven our understanding of genetics and disease.

Topics will include biology’s “central dogma”, the nature of different cells and cell types in the human body, the 3-dimensional folding of the human genome (3 billion letters must fit inside every cell!), and the exciting avenues for fighting disease with the gene editing technology known as CRISPR.
