Adult Programs

Basic English Lab
Learn English and progress at your own pace using innovative digital programs that also improve your digital literacy.
Registration is required. Class meets once a week (Thursday or Saturday)

  • April 24th - June 14th
    Thursdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
    Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Digital English Learning
Use our computers to independently practice and study English (as a Second Language) using Burlington English Program.

  • April 22nd - June 11th
    Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Digital Literacy 1 and 2
Learn the basics of computers and the internet in Digital Literacy 1. Continue your technology learning in Digital Literacy 2.
Class is bilingual (English/Spanish). Registration required.

  • April 26th - June 14th
    Digital Literacy 1: Saturdays 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
    Digital Literacy 2: Saturdays 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Technology Tutoring
 Practice the basics of computers, the internet, and general technology within a small group or one-on-one support.
By appointment only.

  • April 23rd - June 12th
    Wednesdays: 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.
    Thursdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Open Computer Lab
Independent computer use for adults.

  • April 23rd - June 14th
    Wednesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
    Thursdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
    Saturdays: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Citizenship Workshops
Assistance in preparing to take the U.S. citizenship exam. Registration required.

  • April 23rd - June 11th
    Wednesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

El Poder de Leer
English Reading Group - join a small group discussion about a book. Registration required.

  • April 22nd - June 10th
    Tuesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Apoyo Latino
Informal Spanish conversation group - join other community members to foster friendships and provide mutual support. No registration required.

  • April 22nd - June 10th
    Tuesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Leamos Juntos
Spanish literacy club - for native Spanish speakers to improve their Spanish reading and writing. Registration required.

  • April 23rd - June 11th
    Tuesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Youth Programs

Creative Center
Children’s activities are available for children ages 4 - 12 years while parents are attending a class/workshop. 

  • Offered during Adult Program's schedule.

After School Program
Homework Club is for children in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade that attend a school or live in South San Francisco. The program follows the South San Francisco School District Calendar. Registration required.

  • January 7 - May 30 
    Monday – Friday: Afterschool until 6:00 p.m.
