Time has Many Voices: Excavation of a Muwekma Ohlone Village
In the Bay area of San Francisco is an ancient village site where Native peoples long ago lived and prospered. In a once in a lifetime event, the descendants of those people, the Muwekma Ohlone, have partnered with archeologists to conduct one of the most intensive studies ever undertaken at an early pre-contact site in California.
We are pleased to have Julie Dominguez, a Muwekma Ohlone tribal member, with us to answer questions after the film.
Learn about the history, geography and process of the excavation reported in the documentary, Time Has Many Voices (Run time 57 minutes).
