Thorough Testing: Keeping our children and families safe is our first priority. Groundwater and soil were rigorously tested to ensure they meet safety standards. The County confirmed the area is deemed safe for public use in 2001.

Environmental Improvements

Restoration Efforts: The City has been proactive in getting the soil tested and cleaning up the park. Contaminants have been removed. The site is safe as is, but the City is voluntarily doing further cleanup.
